Economical indicators of the district for 9 months of 2007

Opening 14300 work-places in Nasimi district were considered according to “State Program for social-economic development of regions of Azerbaijan Republic” which was affirmed by Order No 14, with date February 11, 2004 of the President of Azerbaijan Republic.

As a result of done measures 10655 work-places were opened from 01.10.2003 till 01.10.2007. 1870 new work-places were opened in the district in January-September months, 2007. Recently, new workshop of “Baku Textile House” OJSC started operating and because of this 150 person provided with permanent job.

Macroeconomic indicators which show social and economic changes in life of the district rose up during nine months of 2007 ^{year in comparison with last year. So, production of industrial products was 125.1 manats this year. This is 7.9% more than suitable period of last year. Special size of nongovernmental sector is 85% in total volume of industrial production.}

Enterprises operating in transport sector brought in 242.0 manat note in automobile sphere in January-September months, 2007. This is 21.5 % more than suitable period of last year.

171.1 million manats investment were use for development of social and economic fields in construction complexes of the district in January-September months, 2007 and this is 4.9% more than suitable period of last year. 3.8% of used investment was expended for construction of production objects. 16.7 million manats of used investment were expended for fulfilling of construction installation works and it’s 4.2 % more than suitable period of 2006.

In beginning of the year, volume of sold consumer goods and served paying services increased 24.2% than suitable period of last year and was 346.7 million manats. Retail commodity circulation including nourishment increased 15.4% than suitable period of last year and was 228.2 million manats. Volume of services was 118.6 million manats.

Average salary of workers who work in economical and social fields of the district reached 174.4 manats in January-August months in comparison with suitable period of 2006. Average salary of workers who work in industrial fields of the district increased 30.9 % and was 213.7 manats in January-August months in comparison with suitable period of 2006.

During 9 months of 2007, 532 persons provided with work by Business Centre of the district, so, it’s 183 persons more in comparison with last year. 153 persons who looked for a job got unemployment status and appointed grant for them. 118 persons who looked for a job involved job-looking and trade preparation courses.

Executive Government of the district always pay attention to intensification of social defense of citizens who look for a job and unemployment citizens, as well as refugees and forced immigrants, youths, women, invalids in account period.

Departments which located in attached areas by work group which founded in Executive Government of the district, has gotten help for rational operation, and has fulfilled enlightening the masses for collection of gas and energy taxes during last period. As a result of done measures collection of electric energy taxes were 73% (it increased 3.3 % in comparison with last year), payment of national gas was 85.1% (it increased 15.9 % in comparison with last year), and payment of water was 42.6%.

Routine repair works were done for lighting system, burned cables, useless conductors, lamps substituted for new in the area of the district during 9 months.

Gas lines of 192 buildings which cross through mine and kitchen were taken out to step cage and meter installed.

Construction and reconstruction works were fulfilled, facades of buildings were colored, and entrance doors were repaired in Nasimi district during 9 months of 2007. Park located in the crossing of Bakikhanov and S. Vurghun Streets reconstructed and fountain complex built in the park. Administrative building of Executive Government of the district thoroughly repaired and roof cover changed.

On the whole 160000 sq. m. asphalt cover laid down in Fizuli, Sh. Badalbeyli, M. A. Aliyev, D. Aliyeva, Vidadi, B. Sefaroglu, A. Guliyev, S. Vurghun, Bulbul, Mardanov Brothers, A. M. Topchubashov, M. Ibrahimov, R. Rza, M. Gashgay, M. Rafibeyli, S. A. Zeynalov, R. Akhundov, Plotnicov, E. Taghizadə, I. Hamidov, Dagestan, Chaverochgin Sarabsky, K. Seferaliyeva, Sh. Azizbeyov, Ch. Hachibeyli Streets and tamet plate laid down in 36000 sq. m. area during construction works in the district.

Park in Vagif Avenue completely was destroyed and was started reconstruction works.

4 underground passages (in R. Behbudov, Bulbul, S. Vurghun, Nizami Streets)and 1 bridge (in the area of 3rd micro-region) were given for use with the purpose of elimination traffic jams, providing pedestrians with security during 9 months of 2007, foundation of new Education Therapeutic Clinic of Medical University of Azerbaijan laid down in September and Mr. President took part in inauguration of these objects.

Preservation and propagandizing of architectural monuments, garden-park, monumental and memorial monuments of country and local importance were focus attention. Cultural objects were repaired on account of state budget and internal opportunities.

Construction and reconstruction works were fulfilled in 36 addresses, 3945.5 sq. m. roof-cover was repaired according to plan of measures with the purpose of preparation for autumn-winter season, inter-estate roads were asphalted, and some prophylactic measures were realized in thermal systems in basement of 110 dwelling-buildings of the district.

Over 150000 trees, decorative flower bushes planted in pavement of U. Hajibeyli, Bakikhanov, S. Vurghun Streets and Vagif Avenue, in gardens, parks and other sidewalks areas with purpose of improvement of ecological condition of the Republic in First lady of Azerbaijan Republic, goodwill ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, Nation’s Lawyer (Deputy) Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva’s initiative “Let’s plant tree for each-one”.

Beside it, all departments, institutions and organizations, as well as private enterprises operating in the area of the district fulfilled construction works and planting of greenery in their area on the recommendation of Executive Government of the district.

Two-storoyed administrative building of District Electoral Committee No 21 (having 328 m2 area) had been built and given for use, 9 and 8 rooms separated for District Electoral Committee No 22 and No 23 had been thoroughly repaired, each three District Electoral Committee supplied with modern equipments.

Some routine and capital repair works were done in educational, public-health and cultural centers of the district, as well as children polyclinic No 12 was reconstructed, new buildings which have got 25 classrooms with capacity 600 places and 44 classrooms with capacity 800 places were built for schools No 152 and No 164.

Routine repair works in libraries named after Kh. Rza and I. Abilov finished, at present thoroughly repair is been continued in School No 151 and Specialized Olympic Resources Children and Youth Sport School, routine repair works is been continued in cultural home named after H. Sarabsky.

2246 pupils graduated educational institutions, 942 persons of them entered schools in last year. Measure was held in Executive Government of the district participating of 47 graduates who gained over 600 points, they awarded with worthy gifts.

Over 8 thousand free belles-lettres and extra-reading materials were delivered at school libraries during 9 months of last year by Executive Government of the district according to the Order “About realization of mass publication in Azerbaijani language on Latin graphic” of Mr. President of Azerbaijan Republic.

Realization of the Order “About providing schools of general education in Azerbaijan Republic with information and communication technologies” improved national education; helped integrating into world education system, enlarging general school’s net, strengthening their material-technical base.

Some thoroughly and routine repair works were done in educational, public-health and cultural centers on the district on accordance to preparation for autumn-winter season 2007/2008.

At present, internal thermal system of 14 general schools and boiling-house of one school are been thoroughly repaired (majority of them is on the end of finishing).

Thermal system was installed in Clinic Medical Centre and Maternity Hospital No 1; Clinic Psychiatry Hospital No 2 will be joined central thermal system.

The center of Hygiene and Epidemical Centre constantly supervised a sanitary and epidemiologic mode in trading networks, networks of production and restaurants, therefore in 9 months of 2007 wasn’t noted the facts of a mass poisoning.

4393 physical persons have registered in Nasimi district department of the State Fund of Social in01.10.2007, 754 of them have registered during 9 months of last year.

According to the Order of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic “About application of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic concerning labor pensions” the sum of a base part according to age increased 40 manats in 01.01.2007, and 50 manats in 01.02.2007. All the labor pensions registered in department, have been again counted and in due time sent for a payment.

The State Social Help was appointed 2635 families in connection with execution of the Decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic “About the State Social Help”.

180204 manats has been allocated from the state budget for implementation of this help. The sum of the help gradually increases, if in 6 months of the last year the average sum of the help for each family was 50 manats, on 12 manats for each person, at present this parameter accordingly was 77,8 manats and 18,62 manats.

At the assemblies of Council lead at the Chief executive of area, social and economic position of area has been discussed and corresponding decisions are made. The certain works for regulation of activity of departments of the Device of the Chief executive and departments, managements and the organizations have been lead.

During 9 months of 2007 meetings with citizens in places have been lead with participation of heads of managements and the organizations for acquaintance with their problems and operative measures were fulfilled for their decision. In Executive Government of area invalids of various categories, martyr families constantly, needy families were accepted.

In the speech at assembly in the Cabinet the President, alongside with the reached successes during 9 months 2007, has given the instruction to corresponding organizations about liquidation of existing defects in short term. The public of Nasimi district should use the best efforts for worthy performance of the instruction of the President, and should not stand aside of the greater creative work going in Republic.
